Painting for Wellbeing

Experience the calm and relaxation of painting as a mindfulness practice

Drawing and painting are not just for artists. When approached with mindfulness, creative practices become powerful tools for focus, relaxation, and well-being. In this six-week course, you’ll explore simple, accessible ways to use art as a form of meditation and self-expression. Each session combines art and mindfulness techniques designed to help you develop a deeper sense of presence, calm, and joy. As we shift from striving to noticing, from judgment to curiosity, we’ll discover how creativity can reconnect us with our natural wisdom so we may move beyond stress and to reclaim a life of awe and wonder. This is a space for play, reflection, and personal insight—no art or meditation experience required.

Format: 6 week course, 90 minute sessions

Dates: Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm, September 16 - October 28

Whether you are new to meditation, or already have a regular practice, this program offers gentle structure, support, and creative insight to help you stay engaged and grounded. The goal is not perfection, but presence - through a practice that feels alive, adaptable, and authentically yours.

Each session blends mindful art exercises, group discussion, and personalized feedback to help you stay present, focused, and connected to your creative intentions. Whether you’re refining a project, overcoming blocks, or simply craving a more conscious relationship with your art, this space offers thoughtful structure, and gentle accountability and encouragement.
